Using the metaphor of “roots,” we emphasize the power of resilience, restoration, and resistance against destructive forces. Through interdisciplinary research, policy advocacy, and grassroots action, we tackle global challenges caused by human-induced harm—environmental degradation, human rights violations, social fragmentation, and political conflicts—to build a more resilient planetary ecosystem and interconnected human society .
