Here\’s what they said. Tuesday, Nov. 5 is Election Day, the final day citizens in Milwaukee County and across the U.S. can vote in the 2024 Presidential Election and other political races . On Election Day, registered voters can cast their ballots at their designated polling place. There are polling places throughout Milwaukee County; click here to find your Wisconsin polling place . If early voting is any indication , voters should prepare for possible long lines at polling places. With lines potentially out the door, voters may want to bring their umbrellas. According to the National Weather Service, all-day rain and potential thunderstorms are in the forecast Sunday through Tuesday, including during voting hours, due to a system moving across the Plains into the Upper Great Lakes region. On Tuesday, Milwaukee is expected to see temperatures in the low 60s. Precipitation chances are between 90% and 100% from 1 p.m. Sunday to noon Tuesday. Periods of heavy rainfall should be expected, with daily totals in some areas between 1 and 1.5 inches, Milwaukee-Sullivan NWS meteorologist Kevin Wagner said. There is a possibility of thunderstorms from late Sunday night until noon Tuesday. Chances are highest between 7 p.m. on Monday and midnight on Tuesday. Rain should taper off by Wednesday morning.
